6th Grade Basketball Club is Back!
We’re excited to offer a 6-week basketball club for 6th grade boys and girls only, starting Tuesday, January 6.

Schedule: Every Tuesday • 2:45–3:45 PM6 weeks Jan 6th-Feb 10th
Registration: Families must register through Final Forms

Ready to put your brain to the test?
Knowledge Bowl is a team trivia club where middle schoolers compete in fast-paced rounds of questions. From math to art to geography, every subject counts! Meet Wednesdays after school in Room 215. Open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Come think, compete, and have fun!

Choir Club!
First meeting is Tuesday, September 16th, 20. Meets in room 230 at 7:20 AM. Email [email protected] for more information. Sign up through the Final Forms link above.

Chess Club meets every Tuesday from 2:45-3:45 PM in Room 123.  Club starts Tuesday, September 16th and runs all year.  Attend when you can! Register using Final Forms (link above) Tournaments will be scheduled for competition in the future.  Questions?  Email [email protected].

MLB Players STEM League Club

Step up to the plate with the MLB Players STEM League Club! This fun and free program combines the excitement of baseball with the challenge of math.

Using real MLB player stats, students play a fast-paced board game where they solve problems with fractions, decimals, percentages, and more. It’s a great way to sharpen math skills, build teamwork, and boost confidence—all while having a blast.

Created in partnership with the MLB Players Trust, the program is designed to make learning fun and engaging through the energy of the game.

Join Art Club!

Love to draw, paint, or just get creative? Art Club is the place to explore your ideas, try new projects, and make cool art with friends. No experience needed—just bring your imagination!

We work on fun activities, share ideas, and create displays that brighten up our school. It’s a chance to express yourself, make new friends, and be part of something awesome.

Dungeons & Dragons Club

Join the adventure! Our Dungeons & Dragons Club welcomes all students—beginners and seasoned heroes alike—to learn collaborative storytelling, problem-solving, and teamwork. We meet every other Thursday after school from 2:40–4:00 PM in the Art Room. Players create characters, explore imaginative worlds, and work together to overcome challenges (dice and materials provided). Come for creativity, stay for the community!

Selkirk Dance Team

Bring the energy! Our Dance Team is open to all students who love to move, learn choreography, and perform as a team. We meet every Friday morning from 7:00–8:00 AM in the Gym. Expect upbeat warm-ups, technique building, and fun routines in a supportive, high-spirited atmosphere.

No experience required—just your enthusiasm and a water bottle. Start your Friday with music, movement, and friends!

Science Boost Mornings

New extra support for science students!

Science Boost Mornings are a weekly drop-in time for students to get additional help and grow their confidence in science.

When & Where

  • Day: Every Tuesday

  • Time: 7:30–8:00 a.m.

  • Location: Room 417

  • Entrance: Students should enter through the front door of the school.

What Students Can Do

During Science Boost Mornings, students can:

  • Get extra help with current science assignments

  • Practice and strengthen core science skills

  • Review important science concepts (including WCAS test prep)

  • Redo or revise work with support

  • Work with peer tutors and a science teacher

Who Can Come?

All science students are welcome!

There is no need to sign up—students can simply show up any Tuesday that works for them.

Math Is Cool Club 

Tuesdays & Thursdays • Limited Spots

The Math Is Cool Club is open to motivated 6th–8th graders who want to strengthen their math skills and prepare for the upcoming Math Is Cool competition. Students will practice problem-solving strategies, work through challenge problems, and build confidence in a supportive environment.

When: Tuesdays & Thursdays after school
Who: Grades 6–8
Note: Space is limited—first come, first served.
