Choir Club!

Join the Dungeons & Dragons Club to embark on epic quests, build unforgettable characters, and explore imaginative worlds—all while developing teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Whether you're a seasoned player or brand new to the game, there's a place for you at the table. Come roll the dice, strategize with friends, and shape your own heroic (or mischievous) destiny!
No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and a sense of adventure!
Colorguard
2 Clinics: Dec. 6th & 17th 3:00-4:30
Official Start Date: Jan. 14th (Practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-4:30.) Occasional Friday rehearsals will be added in after sports practices get going so they can have gym space to practice in. You will also perform at halftime of basketball games and have other performances including the Junior Lilac Parade. Sign up in Final Forms, under Color Guard. They also need to purchase an ASB card to participate.

Photography Club
Who: 6-8th grade
When: Wednesdays 7:30 AM-8:00 AM
Where: Room 417
Advisers: Kettner, VanAssche, Bradley, Holestine
Start Date: Oct 16th
Learn about various photography concepts and learn to take better photos while making new friends! Use a cell phone or we have cameras that you can use!
Enter your photos for the photo of the week/month based on concepts learned during club time. Some strong photos will be considered for our yearbook publication. You must be a club member to enter photos.

Selkirk Conditioning/Weight Training Club
We are beginning a new activity at Selkirk. Beginning October 28, we will introduce Selkirk Conditioning/Weight Training!
Training days are Monday and Wednesday from 3-4 pm. No experience necessary and our advisors will oversee, train, and guide 6-8th graders through strength, agility, and conditioning drills. This is an open door activity which allows you to attend any and/or all dates.
Signup today and we'll see you in the weight room Monday, October 28!
What is it?
Knowledge Bowl is a team-based knowledge competition.
When is it?
Every WEDNESDAY after school. 2:45 - 3:30

Room 215 (Mrs. Pecha’s room)
Who can join?
6th, 7th, and 8th graders are needed! The most competitive teams have members from ALL three grade levels.
Each week we will divide into teams and play a round of 30 questions!
Math Is Cool…Seriously!
If you enjoy math, love to compete, or just want to improve your math skills, consider joining the Selkirk “Math is Cool” team…
Coaches: Mr. Northern and other special guests
Who: 6th- Graders (O.K. Fine – My favorite 7th & 8th-graders are also welcome)
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:50-4:00pm

§ Finishes with “Math is Cool” Championships on a “yet-to-be-determined date” in early February.
